About This Show

While stationed in Korea, Craig Morgan won a number of singing and songwriting contests and opened a Korean show for Sawyer Brown. His interest in writing and singing continued back in the States, and his father, who was also a musician, took him into the studio to record demos of Morgan’s own songs.

Upon completion of his enlistment, Morgan was hired to sing demos for other writers and publishing companies in Nashville. His demos led to a record deal with Atlantic, which released his first album in 2000. The label shuttered shortly after that. However, Morgan soon signed to Broken Bow Records and climbed into the Top 10 with the single “Almost Home” in 2003. The album My Kind of Livin’ followed in 2005.
