About This Show

It’s 1953, and three New York City GIs – one Black, one Jewish, one Latino – find themselves stationed in South Korea in Fred Newman’s tender and haunting musical drama. Follow Walter, Frankie, and Sal on their tour of duty in Pusan, Korea where they encounter first love and tragedy, and find their lives changed forever.

With thirteen original doo-wop, swing and country-tinged songs and bluesy ballads by Newman and Grammy Award-winner Annie Roboff.
