About the Show

Brady Rymer and The Little Band That Could – the multiple award-winning children’s music band – will perform in our synagogue on Sunday, March 1st at 3 p.m. The concert is a fundraiser for The Stanley H. Kaplan Nursery School.

Brady Rymer and his trio are headed our way for a performance of their 2009 Grammy Nominated CD, “Here Comes Brady Rymer and the Little Band That Could.” It’s a family rave-up: every generation rocks out to this band’s strong, straight-ahead grooves, catchy choruses, and a down-home, boogie-woogie, hip-shakin’ vibe you can’t resist. Rollicking, roots-y new tunes like “Road Trip,” “Jump Up (It’s A Good Day)” and “It Was A Saturday Night” along with favorites like “I Found It!” “Keep up with You” and “Look at my Belly” will get the whole family grooving!’

Brady Rymer toured and recorded with RCA’s, "From Good Homes" for thirteen years, sharing the stage with Bob Dylan, Dave Matthews and Bob Weir, before parenthood broadened the scope of his music. Since then, he’s established himself as one of the country’s most exciting creators of music for the whole family; the Little Band That Could “might just be the best-sounding band in children’s music,” according to Stefan Shepherd, heard on NPR’s, "All Things Considered." Don’t miss Brady in a performance full of life, love and heart.
