And Then There Were None

About the Show

And Then There Were None ( a.k.a. Ten Little Indians) is Agatha Christie’s first rate play about ten strangers who find themselves trapped on an island–the prey of a diabolical killer.

It’s a mystery thriller centered around ten figurines on a fireplace mantel. The figurines come to represent the ten guests who have arrived on a secluded British island to defend themselves against an unknown accuser for purported murders that they have each committed and gotten away with. A children’s nursery rhyme eerily starts to predict the death of each guest, with a figurine falling to its death from the mantel place to coincide with each guest’s demise.

Based on Agatha Christie’s short story Ten Little Indians, the play is a classic thriller that has influenced many subsequent plays and films, itself being made into several film versions including the original 1945 film starring Barry Fitzgerald and Walter Huston and a remake in 1965 called Ten Little Indians. It’s an exciting suspense that will keep you guessing to the end.

Agatha Christie is one of England’s most widely read authors, having written dozens of mystery short stories, novels, and theatrical plays. Her popular character sleuths Herucle Poirot and Miss Marple have appeared in dozens of her stories and been made into popular television series. Her most popular plays also include Murder On The Nile, Witness For The Prosecution, and Mousetrap.
