About This Show

The Guggenheim Museum’s “Works & Process” series features a special event called ABT – A Rose by Any Other Name…

In an evening of contrasts and discussion, actors perform scenes from Romeo and Juliet using Shakespeare’s text, and ABT performers dance to Prokofiev’s music and Kenneth MacMillan’s choreography. Gillaume Graffin, principal dancer with ABT, leads an evening where different artistic disciplines lead to the same end – the tragedy that is Romeo and Juliet.
