3rd Annual SW Burlesque Showcase

The finest burlesque performers from New Mexico, Arizona, California, Colorado and Texas return to the historic KiMo Theatre for a night of exotic dance, risque comedy and acrobatic excess. Once again, SBS is calling forth the spirit of striptease legend Sally Rand, who brought her famed “Bubble Dance” to the KiMo stage in December of 1936. Southwest Burlesque Showcase 2009 will be a multi-act extravaganza of feather boas, sequined pasties, ruffled bloomers and classic bump-and-grind action–all delivered with an irreverent sense of humor.
