Willie B. Came Into the Sun

The Passage Theatre Company presents the world premiere of Willie B. Came Into the Sun written by Jean Sterrett amd directed by Robert Kalfin. Set in the mountains of Vietnam, this new play with music explores the relationship between a Viet Cong captor and his prisoner. The American, a musician, uses his vivid imagination to create a fantasy world during his captivity that includes musical comedy high jinks, romantic interludes, and wartime flashbacks. A surprisingly funny and moving play about humanity’s power to overcome the trauma of war.
