Currently celebrating its 25th anniversary season, Ronald K. Brown’s Evidence is the most important African-American based dance company to emerge since Alvin Ailey. As a choreographer, Brown’s work combines Cuban, Caribbean, West African, and modern American dance forms to create a powerful view of human struggles, tragedies, and triumphs.
