Tony Award nominee Michael Cumpsty stars as Garry Essendine, a debonair matinee idol who never steps out of the spotlight–even when his life is complicated by the demands of friends, lovers, producers, and playwrights. Director David Lee is an acclaimed stage director who was one of the creators of the long-running hit television series Frasier and Wings; he also wrote for Cheers and directed many episodes of Everybody Loves Raymond.
