From Montreal comes Edouard Lock’s revolutionary and provocative contemporary dance troupe, LA LA LA Human Steps, which combines movement, live music, and film projections.
Lock’s newest full-length work deconstructs, reconstructs, and adapts passages from two universally recognized operas, Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, and Gluck’s Orpheus and Eurydice, set not to the music of the original operas, but to a new score by the British composer Gavin Bryars (played live).
