Book of Days

When a tornado roars through the small mid-western town of Dublin, Missouri, the owner of the town’s cheese factory turns up dead in a so-called accidental shooting. Factory bookkeeper Ruth Hoch – while rehearsing the title role in Saint Joan at the local Community Theater – begins her own crusade to find truth and honesty among the chorus of townspeople. As the days pass, ensuing events and Ruth’s quest expose small-town jealousies, greed, lies and murder.
