Tickle your fancy with toe-tapping musical selections ranging from novelty and hot swing numbers to beautiful ballads of the 1920s and 1930s. Andy Stein’s Blue Four combines a polished violin style with humorous banter and historical commentary, enlivening songs by musical greats Duke Ellington, Fats Waller, George Gershwin, Irving Berlin and others. Stein has notably recorded with Itzak Perlman and Placido Domingo and has played violin and saxophone for the past thirteen years on national public radio as part of the house band of A Prairie Home Companion.
