About This Show

Ain’t Misbehavin’ is inspired by the life of international music great Thomas “Fats” Waller, the man who’s rise to fame during the Golden Age of Swing put the infectious rythmns of this new sound in the heart and soul of the era. The show is filled with songs such as “Honeysuckle Rose,” “The Joint is Jumpin’,” and “Keepin’ Out of Mischief Now.” Richard Maltby wrote the book for the 1978 Broadway hit, and the Crossroads performers bring this effervescent musical to life as they sing, dance, and play their way through the musical history of this legendary performer.
