The Strange Misadventures of Patty, Patty’s Dad, Patty’s Friend Jen and a Bunch of Other People is a modern fable about a successful economist (Patty), her scientist friend, Jen (who has “superpowers”), and the exciting lives of young, successful, professional women, until Patty is suddenly sidelined by a meeting with her estranged father. With a little help from her friends, Patty attempts to reconstruct a language of understanding with her father in this sharply funny and touching story of modern life and family ties.
