Lionel Bart’s epic musical masterpiece is based on Charles Dickens’ classic novel, Oliver Twist. The story follows the adventures of Oliver, an orphan who runs away from the brutal workhouse life and into the streets of London. There he meets an array of colorful and sometimes dangerous denizens, among them the lovable Nancy Sikes, the precocious Artful Dodger and the charismatic leader of the pickpockets, Fagin.

Bart’s adaptation is a swirling musical adventure that combines sweeping drama with the comic exuberance of the British music hall. Oliver features a hit-filled score that includes “Consider Yourself”, “As Long As He Needs Me”, “Food, Glorious Food” & “Where is Love.”
