About This Show

A group of travelers gather on board the steamship Lotus, amid Egypt’s unrelenting heat. After one of them is shot in the middle of the night, suspicion arises among those left standing that someone is a murderer. As they sail from Wadi Halfa to Cairo, a new picture emerges. A wealthy bride with her lower class husband and their French maid, a clergyman, a handsome young socialist with a flair for sarcasm, a German Doctor, and a caustic middle class English woman dragging her loving niece along. What will they see? Whom can they trust? Who are these people, truly? The Nile holds many secrets…
