Holiday Lites began in 2019 at the Benson Theatre’s B Side when the now newly renovated space was still just a drawing on an easel. We are collaborating with our friends there, again, only this time in the beautiful, new, state-of-the-art community space they have created, combined with the artistry of John Forsman to create a one-of-a-kind, immersive, multi-media event!
An odd encounter with Krampus. Old acquaintances yearning to not be forgot. A yarn of grief spun in celebration. A dark road that leads to an unexpected place. A frightening new look at a well-worn tale—and more! This assortment of intermingled and interconnected stories features the connection, warmth, and humor that unifies the spirit of the many traditions that coincide at year’s end. A little bit for everyone, we’ve put the holidays into a blender and whipped up a fresh, festive, and endearing nog to toast 2023 with humor, heart… and even a few frights.
