About the Show
The St. Louis Black Repertory Companys season finale is the award-winning musical, Bubbling Brown Sugar, by Lofton Mitchell and Rosetta LeNoire. This production will transport you back in time to the era of the Harlem Renaissance, to nightclubs like the Savoy Ballroom and famous Cotton Club where people lined up around the block to hear legends, Duke Ellington, Cab Calloway, Billie Holliday, Sarah Vaughn jam.
