U/G/L/Y

Freestyle Theatre will stage their production of U/G/L/Y featuring violinist Kate Pehrson. The continuation of a long collaboration with director Bailey, U/G/L/Y is Shá Cage’s new performance work told through lyrical storytelling framed by deeply personal and pop culture lenses. This original piece examines the underbelly of beauty as Cage seamlessly inhabits multiple characters. U/G/L/Y features Cage, a celebrated local theater artist activist, as she channels elements of breath, clown, movement and video in this 80-minute highly energetic and emotional, yet humorous journey.
