With the help of Minnesota’s nationally acclaimed “Klezmer and All That Jazz”, we trace the rise of the Big Band from Dixieland and blues, featuring the hits of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Tommy Dorsey, Glenn Miller and more. And we’ll explore how the great Benny Goodman integrated his band a full decade before Jackie Robinson ever put on a Dodgers uniform.
