Gary Louris is a singular talent. Having been a founding member of the hugely influential group The Jayhawks, and performing in one group or another since 1985, he brings with him a soft rock sound that only experience and true musical genius can achieve. Using acoustic instrumentals straight from Simon and Garfunkel’s heyday, and a vocal delivery reminiscent of the Beatles’ mellower pop tracks, Louris brings the 70’s back in a way all his own.

In spite of his immense fan base, Louris rarely tours these days, so any chance to see him perform live is a can’t-miss occasion. With a signature mix of folk and alternative country, Louris rocks audiences across the nation. Louris can be found playing festivals like SXSW and local venues like the Dakota Jazz Club, but will shine in this intimate venue!
