About This Show

Gilbert and Sullivan’s comic operetta The Pirates of Penzance is the story of a band of fun-loving pirates who meet and fall in love with the daughters of eccentric Major-General George Stanley. This classic satire on British nobility provides tongue-in-cheek laughs by the way of sentimental pirates, bumbling policemen, dim-witted young lovers, and dewy-eyed daughters, all morally bound to the often ridiculous dictates of honor and duty.
