In Singin’ in the Rain, Linda and Don are a famous screen couple who publicize a romance for Hollywood’s attention. In reality, Don has his eye on Kathy, making Linda jealous. Soon, Linda and Don’s motion picture studio decides to add sound to their next film. This turns out to be a disaster because of Linda’s nasal, scratchy voice. They decide to dub over Linda’s songs with Kathy’s smooth voice, which Linda takes full credit for. Will this charade last long? Will Hollywood find out that Linda is a fake? David McIntosh directs this wonderful and funny play.
