About This Show

Based on Carol Burnett’s memoir One More Time and inspired by her late daughter, writer/director Carrie Hamilton, Hollywood Arms is the story of three generations of women living in a shabby apartment at the foot of the Hollywood Hills. The story, spanning from 1941 to 1951, follows Helen as she survives her passage from child to young woman all the while dealing with her alcoholic father, her eccentric grandmother and her elusive mother. The play, written in a series of vignettes, is both sad and funny…a story about shattered hopes and realized dreams.

There is a Benefit Performance on April 27. Tickets are $30.
