Vanessa Williams has never done anything halfway. To say she has won critical acclaim as a singer and actress on stage, in film and on television hardly captures everything this talented performer has done. Her albums have earned 17 Grammy nominations, 11 of those for her individually. Her platinum single “Colors of the Wind” from the motion picture Pocahontas won the Oscar, Golden Globe and Grammy for Best Original Song from a Motional Picture. On stage she has won rave reviews for her role in Kiss of the Spider Woman as well as a Tony nomination for Best Actress for her performance in the musical Into the Woods.
