About This Show

The Vienna Project is a production comprised of three world premieres by and about seminal Viennese figures Ingeborg Bachmann and Ludwig Wittgenstein. In “Among Murderers and Madmen,” set in post-war Vienna, two men escape from their restaurant table to the washroom where they confess their disgust for the ex-Nazis with whom they are dining. “Undine Valediction” follows a female creature named Undine who pronounces her final farewell to the men who insprired and attempted to subjugate her. “Wittgenstein vs. Popper: The Main Event” is an outrageous take on the 1946 showdown between renowned 20th century philosophers Ludwig Wittgenstein and Karl Popper at a meeting of the Moral Science Club in Cambridge, England.
