About This Show

How far would you be willing to go for love? for art? How much would you be willing to change? And how high a price might you be willing to pay? The Shape of Things tells the story of Adam, a gawky museum guard and student in a conservative college town who is confronted at work one day by a beautiful woman armed with a can of spray paint. That woman is Evelyn, an MFA candidate at the college, who is at the museum to protest what she calls “false art” by painting genitalia on a sculpture that has been altered by local censors. The confrontation ends surprisingly in romance, and thus begins an unusual relationship that finds Adam changing his hair, his wardrobe and even his nose to please Evelyn.
