About This Show

The opera tells the story of a wandering hobo, Bob, who charms his way into the lives of an elderly woman and her maid. Both women think Bob has an eye for them, and concoct different schemes to keep him in the house. The women learn there is an escaped thief from the local prison, and the description matches Bob. Through an increasing web of gossip, lies, and petty theft, Bob is forced to become the thief that he is suspected to be. Tickets may be purchased at the door, or reserved
