The 2006 Pell Awards for Excellence in the Arts

Two-time Tony Award winner Chita Rivera is honored at The 2006 Pell Awards for Excellence in the Arts, a tribute to Senator Claiborne Pell and the arts, hosted by Trinity Repertory Company. Actress/singer/dancer Chita Rivera is back on Broadway in her current musical Chita Rivera: The Dancer’s Life. The annual black-tie celebration features an elegant dinner, dancing, and the awards program. Senator and Mrs. Claiborne Pell are Honorary Chairs of the event. Proceeds from ticket sales benefit artistic programming at Trinity Rep and fund grants to the Pell Award winners.
