About This Show

From Gershwin’s “Someone To Watch Over Me” to Tina Turner’s “What’s Love Got to Do With It,” Respect: A Musical Journey takes a funny, exuberant look at women’s lives as reflected in pop music.

Written by popular music authority, Dorothy Marcic, the production chronicles four women and the songs they listened to at important milestones in their lives. Respect features an ensemble cast, a live band on stage, and more than 50 favorite songs, including “Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend,” “Mr. Sandman,” “Whatever Lola Wants,” “Dedicated to the One I Love,” “These Boots are Made for Walkin,” “I Am Woman,” “I Will Survive,” “Hero,” and of course, Aretha Franklin’s “R-E-S-P-E-C-T.”

In addition to the regular schedule, a 2:00 PM matinee is scheduled for the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month.
A 6:00 PM performance is scheduled for the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month.Discounts and priority seating are available for groups of 15+ by calling 617-426-4499 x 25 or by calling Show of the Month Group Sales at 617-350-6000
