About This Show

Reno’s new work — This one-woman show was commissioned by Hartford Stage and promises another riveting performance for Boston area audiences. In this new production, she examines what appears to be rapidly changing — the separation between church and state in our beloved United States of America. Those who have seen Reno in her spellbinding performance of Reno: Rebel Without a Pause here last September, will remember how she manages to be hilarious while concerning herself with deep societal issues. Sifting through streams of evidence in her guileless Citizen Reno manner, Reno continually updates her mesmerizing monologue as she processes this important issue, integral to American culture! A surprising and continually evolving work – while constantly in flux, it is consistently entertaining and enterprising in its scope – from the delightful mind of this extremely creative acclaimed New York performer. Not to be missed!
