A "Divine" afternoon of bellylaughs, blessings, blarney and bingo!
Father Patrick Aloysius Misgivings offers a "divine" evening of stories and one-liners about growing up Catholic. From miracles and marriage counseling to bazaars and birth control, nothing escapes the good father’s razor sharp wit. This interactive comedy features a collection, a raffle, and an actual game of bingo!
The May 20 Show will be a benefit for Voice of the Faithful (VOTF) and will include a buffet luncheon hosted by Redbones of Davis Square and a silent auction featuring tickets for Red Sox baseball, Boston College football, various theatre events, autographed books by well known Catholic authors and numerous other items. Doors will open at 1:00 PM with the show starting at 3:00 PM.
Voice of the Faithful is a worldwide movement of concerned mainstream Catholics formed in response to the clergy sexual abuse crisis. The group’s mission is to provide a prayerful voice, attentive to the Spirit, through which the Faithful can actively participate in the governance and guidance of the Catholic Church. Its goals are to support survivors of clergy sexual abuse, support priests of integrity, and shape structural change within the Catholic Church in full accordance and harmony with Church teaching.
