About the Show

This 26th Annual edition promises the magic and wonder area audiences expect of Reagle’s holiday spectacle – a show with great visual appeal and production values. Like a living Christmas card – it celebrates the joys of the season. This year’s Special Guest Star is Sarah Pfisterer, leading lady of Broadway’s
Show Boat and The Phantom of the Opera.

Onstage, dozens of holiday sights and sounds delight. Victorian carolers on the Boston Public Gardens spring to life like a living Currier and Ives print. Nutcracker bears, sleeping beside giant toy drums, awaken to join Clara in a charming ballet beneath an immense Christmas tree. A stage filled with life size Raggedy Anns and Andies wish one and all a very literal and quite clever Merry Christmas greeting. Tiny tots portray assorted elves, holiday children and Santa’s helpers.

Wooden soldiers, impeccably uniformed, march in unison. The great charm of "The March of the Wooden Soldiers" spectacle comes courtesy of Radio City Music Hall Productions which licenses Reagle Players the exclusive and sole rights to the exact costuming – made by them – and choreography featured in their famed Radio City Music Hall show. The Living Nativity, a richly costumed finale, features a life size crèche complete with Holy Family, sojourning magi, pastoral shepherds and heralding angels on high – all seeming like a classic carol’s "midnight clear" – come to life.
