Written by David Lindsay-Abaire, Good People is the tough and tender story of Margie, whose world is defined by the working-class neighborhood of South Boston where she grew up and still lives. Margie is independent and strong, but when she is faced by yet another financial crisis in her world of low wages and layoffs, her search for a job leads her to Mikey, an old boyfriend from high school who made it out of Southie to Chestnut Hill, where he works as doctor. Poignant, touching, and often funny, Good People takes a look at the choices, opportunities, resources, and luck that affect our lives.
