About This Show

Representing a multitude of ethnicities and a variety of viewpoints, 11 of the hottest female comediennes from Greater Boston and beyond are back onstage, back with a vengeance and back by popular demand.

Last summer, Boston’s Women of Color in Comedy (WOC) comediennes sizzled on two of the hottest comedy stages in New England, the Comedy Studio in Harvard Square and, for the first time, Jimmy Tingle’s Off Broadway in Somerville’s Davis Square. Both shows sold out and no subject was sacred. Every year these women offer their own unique takes on the world at large and what it has to offer: sex, politics, men, race, homosexuality, family, and food, to list a few. This year will be no different. It’s the year that Martha Stewart went down, Ronald Reagan was laid to rest, Massachusetts made national news with the gay marriage debate, and the nation will vote for a new president.
