About This Show

TheatreZone presents Actor’s Revenge, a festival of actor selected
plays. The company invited actors to submit proposals for a play that
they had long wanted to perform, and felt the opportunity was unlikely
to come their way. Proposals were judged by a panel of fellow actors
and audience regulars solely on the quality of the actor’s past work
and their passion for the production.

Actors go through their careers subject to the whims of others.
Producers pick the plays, directors decide if you will be cast. Even
if you give a fabulous audition- someone else may feel you are too
tall, too fat, too pretty, ugly, old, young, or just plain wrong. Time
can also be merciless- and you wake up one day realizing you are now
too old for that role you’ve always longed to perform!

Now, for the first time, some of the finest actors who have worked with
TheatreZone over the years have a chance to call the shots! They pick
the play, the director, the approach, and cast themselves in the role
of their dreams.
