A Story of Christmas

A Story of Christmas tells of a present-day mother, father and two children who, in the frenetic rush of last-minute Christmas Eve shopping, experience a meltdown that leaves them exploring why Christmas is celebrated. Through the words of the parents and a narrator (pastors from three different area churches will take turns), we are transported back to the time shortly before the birth of baby Jesus, meeting Zacharias, Elisabeth, Mary and Joseph. The play is punctuated with rich choral music.
