About This Show

Hilarious and terrifying, A Midsummer Night’s Dream is Shakespeare’s most famous comedy, where hearts are won and lost in the twinkling of an eye and nothing is as it seems. Martha Clarke’s dance-theatre inhabits a gorgeous, sensual realm, rich in fantasy and the fragmented imagery of the unconscious. Her lavish vision for this creates an earthy world of ravishing beauty, complete with dancers and aerial choreography by Foy.

Presented by the American Repertory Theatre.
