An Affinity for Angels

About the Show

Reginald S. Lewis’ play poses the question: If killing is wrong for individuals, then why is it permissible for the state? Written by a death row inmate, An Affinity for Angels is an imaginative play about a group of middle school children who wrestle with the moral and immoral implications of capital punishment.
This free staged reading is part of Lorna Littleway’s Juneteenth Festival of New Plays, hosted by The Actors Theatre of Louisville.
