Goodbye Girl, The

The Goodbye Girl, with book by Neil Simon, music by Marvin Hamlish and lyrics by David Zippel, is a thoroughly hilarious musical about relationships. Paula is a struggling divorcée with the worst taste in men. When her current beau leaves her, she winds up sharing an apartment with Eliot, a second-rate actor and first-rate pain in Paula’s side. Before long, mutual hate turns into something sweeter. A wonderful comedy with some very nice touching moments.
