One woman brings to life an entire town and then some in this comic odyssey into the heart of ambition and family. Alice begins her journey as a diabolically ambitious nine-year-old in a southern suburban wasteland, determined to lip-synch her way out of there and straight to the top. However, she is constantly thwarted by community theater directors, child beauty pageant queens, religious fanatics, uppity New Yorkers, and a host of other small-minded inferiors until an event back home inspires her to heal herself through healing others. St Alice of Chattahoochee, patron saint of embarrassment and awkwardness, is here to help us all.

Produced by Fountain City Productions, in association with The Powerhouse Theatre Company.
