South Coast Repertory presents the world premiere of Richard Greenberg’s A Naked Girl on the Appian Way on the Segerstrom Stage. The family at the center of the play is reunited when the two children return to the U.S. after a year of traveling through Europe. At the head of the family are Bess, a successful author and cooking show host, and Jeffrey, an eccentric genius of sorts who lacks life’s essential tools but accommodates with fascinating ideas. However, the children have returned with some big news that manages to trigger a chain reaction of neighborhood revelations.
