About This Show

Poco was one of the first groups to pioneer Country-Rock music. The harmonies and instruments of Country mixed with Rock’n’Roll rhythms, paved the way for supergroups like the Eagles and while hits for Poco were few, their influence runs deep in both Country and Pop music.

Richie Furay and Jim Messina formed Poco after Buffalo Springfield broke up in 1968 when Stephen Stills and Neil Young left the group. These country rock pioneers found platinum success early in their career, and four decades later Rusty Young who wrote and sang the massive hits "Crazy Love" and "Heart Of The Night" still leads the this incredible band. Other hits include "Heart Of The Night", "Keep On Tryin’" and "Good Feelin’ To Know".

The band continues to record and release new material including an unplugged CD "The Wildwood Sessions" and a critically acclaimed 40th Anniversary DVD.
