Urban Bush Women / Compagnie Jant-Bi: The Beauty of Little Things is a transcontinental collaboration between two dance companies charting fresh choreographic territory. Brooklyn’s all-female company, Urban Bush Women, under Founding Artistic Director Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, and Senegal,s all-male company, Compagnie Jant-Bi, led by Artistic Director Germaine Acogny, share a source of inspiration: the role of identity within a community.
