Twelfth Night

Twelfth Night begins when twins Viola and Sebastian survive a shipwreck and arrive independently in Illyria, each thinking the other has drowned. Viola disguises herself as a boy and finds employment with the Duke who is in love with Olivia. Viola falls in love with the Duke, just as Olivia falls for the disguised Viola. Meanwhile, Sir Toby Belch plays a cruel trick on Malvolio. Sam Mendes directs Shakespeare’s comedy of mistaken identities, practical jokes, and unrequited love.
