About This Show

The Open Air repertory season is proud to include a revival of Gilbert and Sullivan’s comic operetta The Pirates of Penzance. Frederic, the slave to duty, has completed his apprenticeship to The Pirate King because he has finally reached his 21st birthday; Frederick is now free to love Mabel. Complications arise (as they always do) when he finds out that his birthday is on February 29, making him 5 3/4…and still apprenticed to the Pirates!
