About This Show

The Eternity Man is an historic character from Sydney urban folklore. An ex-petty criminal, ex-alcoholic, ex-gambling hobo, he converted to Christianity and spent the next 37 years writing his one-word sermon – the single word “Eternity” – across over half a million surfaces in the capital and elsewhere. The show is the second collaboration of Jonathan Mills and poet Dorothy Porter.
