About This Show

I do! I do!, written by Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt (The Fantasticks, 110 In the Shade), was the first two-person musical ever performed on Broadway. The remarkably intimate, thoroughly romantic piece, takes audiences into the bedroom of Agnes and Michael as they try to maintain their passion and devotion to each other through the joys and pains, trials and tribulations, setbacks and celebrations of their fifty year marital odyssey. BRT Artistic Director Edward Keith Baker has asked the real-life husband and wife team of Barbara McCulloh and Brad Little to star in this production; the two met on the BRT stage in 1987. McCulloh has entertained audiences far and wide with performances that include Broadway’s The King and I and Peter Pan. Little has electrified theaters worldwide in the title role of Andrew Lloyd-Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera.
