Broadway under the Stars

The Camino Real Playhouse presents the third annual Broadway under the Stars benefiting the Capital Fund Campaign for the future Capistrano Center for the Performing Arts.

This year’s show will feature live Broadway music in various forms from Classical to Rock, and Soul to Traditional standards. The entertainment will feature Emmy Award winner and Tony Award nominee Liz Callaway, Theatre World Award winner and 2-time Tony Award nominee Daphne Rubin-Vega, Drama Desk Award nominee Capathia Jenkins, and former star of The Phantom of the Opera (and now local resident) Megan Starr-Levitt. Each of these Broadway leading ladies brings with them years of accolades, numerous shows and cast albums, and rave reviews for their work on Broadway, in film, and recordings.

Joining these headliners will be The Camino String Quintet, World Theatrical Dance champions Cate Caplin and Gary Franco, and the cast of the upcoming premiere of The Rocky Horror Show. The event will be hosted and directed by Broadway veteran performer Michael Wallot, current Artistic Director of the Camino Real Playhouse.

VIP tickets include table seating in the center section and entrance to the private AfterGlow party, which follows the event. The AfterGlow will offer Champagne and after-dinner drinks and an opportunity to meet our star entertainers one-on-one.
