Becky has been said to have “the voice of an angel who just got her heart ripped out by the devil.” – The New Haven Advocate May, 2006, Becky was chosen Best Folk-Singer/Songwriter in the Providence Phoenix Best Music Poll 2006. That’s the 9th BMP award she’s received from the Phoenix since 1999. April 20, 2006. Becky was also voted Best Singer-Songwriter and Best Female Vocalist in the Roots Music Categories. Chosen Best Local Female Vocalist 5 times in 6 years (2000-2003, 2005) by the readers of the Providence Phoenix Best Music Poll.
